Stolen vehicle found after five years

It was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen in Berea, Durban in 2011.

A STOLEN vehicle dating back to a 2011 crime was recovered by police on patrol in the Port Shepstone CBD.

Members from the 10111 call centre in Port Shepstone noticed a suspicious vehicle in Conner Street in the early hours of Tuesday.

Port Shepstone SAPS spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said when officers checked the vehicle, it was found that it had been stolen in Berea, Durban in 2011.

The car has been taken to the SAPS pound for further investigation.
