Man found murdered at Margate Pier
It's thought that he may have been stabbed and then dragged into the water.
THE body of a man, believed to be a car guard, was discovered in the water near Margate Pier earlier this morning.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka said members from Search and Rescue SAPS, Port Shepstone received a call and responded.
Capt Mfeka said the man was stabbed twice, once in the chest and once in the back.
The man is thought to be about 35 years old. It appears he may have been stabbed before being dragged into the water, – Capt Gerald Mfeka
He added that the man had not been identified as yet, and that a case of murder has been opened.
