Teen killed in gaming dispute

An argument led to a fatal stabbing at a gaming centre at Harding.

HARDING police are investigating a murder after a 19-year-old was stabbed in Harding on Sunday.

A fight apparently broke out between Kelly Vetter (19) and a 17-year-old boy at a gaming centre in the Harding CBD.

“Mr Vetter was stabbed.  He was taken to St Andrew’s Hospital in Harding but died on the way,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.

The suspect was arrested and appeared in the Harding Court on Monday this week.

The case was postponed for further investigation and the teenager remains in police custody.

The suspect’s name could not be released because he is a juvenile.
