Man dies after brutal assault
The angry mob claim that the man had been breaking into their homes.
A MAN died after being attacked by community members in Murchison last Sunday afternoon.
The man was suspected of being involved in housebreakings in the area.
“He was seriously injured and police officers took him to hospital in a police vehicle,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
The man died on the way to the hospital.
A murder docket has been opened.
