Update: Margate pier murder suspect in court
The man accused of murder was arrested hours after the crime.
IT’S believed that car guard Skhumbuzo Jetro Khandayo (30) was killed by a friend.
The man accused of the murder, Nkosiphendule Jayzee Xolo (29) was arrested by Margate detectives and appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court last Friday.
He remains in custody, pending further investigation.
Fishermen discovered the body between the rocks on the right hand side of the pier in the early morning.
It appears that either the bleeding man was dragged over the boulders or he crawled away in an attempt to escape his attacker.
