Danish tourist drugged and robbed

What followed has shocked and disturbed the community.

DESPITE having been drugged and robbed, a tourist from Denmark did not – according to the Scottburgh SAPS – open a case for investigation.

It is claimed that the holidaymaker was driving along Impathle Drive, Pennington when a couple, estimated to be in their 50s, waved him down.

He stopped to see if he could assist them.

After hearing their tale of woe, the holidaymaker took the couple to a local restaurant as they said they were hungry.

What apparently followed has shocked and disturbed the community, which has taken to social media to voice its anger and concern.

It appears the kindhearted holidaymaker was somehow drugged and only came to hours later.

His cellphone, wallet and hired vehicle had been stolen.

The vehicle, which was later recovered in Park Rynie, was found without the keys.

In spite of no case having been opened, you are warned to please take note of this and be cautious.
