THE Umzinto Post Office was broken in to last Saturday night.
The manager had closed up around 4.30pm on Friday afternoon and, when she returned to open the post office the following day, she found that the premises had been robbed.
“She found that everything was in a state of disarray,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
Preliminary investigation established that an adapter had been stolen during the burglary.
