This was a party with a purpose.

PATRONS wore pink and partied to raise funds for breast cancer research at a ‘Ladies’ Night’ at the 19th Hole, Banners Rest, last Saturday.

The evening started with snacks and a face painting session, followed by a range of talks, demonstrations and stalls offering advice and specials on beauty therapy, custom-designed jewellery, nutrition, motivation and make-up.

A karaoke session and disco kept everyone well entertained and continued until midnight. The organisers donated 20 percent of the proceeds from the event to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
