NSRI Port Edward medics attended to a stabbing at a Port Edward shop on Monday afternoon this week.

Alan Stilwell, NSRI Port Edward duty coxswain, said the man had suffered multiple lacerations and arterial bleeding.

Medics stabilised hime before taking him to hospital.

Police are investigating.
