Man murdered in Gcilima
The man was taken to the Gcilima Clinic where he was pronounced dead.
A MAN died in Gcilima, near Southbroom in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka said police were called to Gcilima Clinic at about 1am.
“When they arrived at the clinic, the man was declared dead. Upon investigation it was established that Thulasizwe Njaya (31) from Bhokodisa location in Gcilima went to a tavern in Mqadi ward where a fight apparently broke out,” said Captain Mfeka.
Njaya was found lying on the ground outside the tavern and was taken to the clinic.
The owner of the tavern was taken in for questioning on Saturday and released the same day.
No arrests have been made.
