PORT Shepstone Primary got off to a great start on the first day of the 2017 academic year. Grades R and 1 pupils were escorted to their respective classrooms and quickly settled down to work. Fortunately most children now attend pre-school which helps with a speedy adjustment to gr 1.
All pupils have been issued with textbooks, stationery, and work books and work is well under way throughout all grades. The school has introduced a new school uniform for 2017, which includes a navy blue dress and golf T-shirts.
Despite the initial challenges with acquiring sufficient stock, many parents have purchased new uniforms and additional stock will be available at the school by the end of January.
