HIBBERDENE Academy’s headmaster Brian Algie has spent the last two Saturdays with the 2017 gr 12s to prepare them for leadership of the school for this year.
Pupils were counselled and tasks were mixed with fun and seriousness.
They experienced physical and intellectual fellowship, explored trust, honesty, teamwork and learned about themselves and helping others in need.
Interns excelled academically at UNISA in 2016. Nickolin Pillay is currently a third year student who achieved eight distinctions (out of 10); Thulisile Nyuswa is currently a fourth year student and achieved six distinctions (out of 10).
Nickolin currently teaches computers, natural science and technology and business studies for intermediate and senior phase and Thulisile teaches maths, life orientation and natural science for intermediate and senior phase.
