MERLEWOOD Primary’s first governing body meeting took place last Tuesday.
By-elections to fill the three vacant positions will be held on March 11 at 2pm. Parents will be informed accordingly.
Elected RCL members Andile Cebisa, O’Ryan Gwala, Aphiwe Nyathi, Arne Dicken, Emihle Gcaba, Braxton Ogle and Manelisi Gcaba are congratulated and wished well during their term of office.
The final list of prefects for 2017 will be released shortly.
Gr 6 pupil Enhle Ntshangase was involved in the serious motor vehicle accident last week and the school wishes her a speedy recovery. Once again an appeal is made to parents to secure safe and reliable transport for their children.
