DESPITE multiple arrests, crime is still a concern in Scottburgh.
Entry was gained into a Williamson Street residence sometime between the hours of 11pm on Monday and 5.30am on Tuesday, February 14.

A window had been left slightly open. A flat screen television and a cellphone were stolen.
During the second incident on Wednesday afternoon, February 15, a security guard was patrolling at a residence in Adrienne Avenue when she was accosted by three men armed with knives.

“She was threatened and robbed of her cellphone, money and SASSA card as well as other cards,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
The Scottburgh SAPS have registered cases for investigation. No arrests have been made in either case as yet.
