Domestic worker finds employer murdered in Margate flat

The man's throat had been cut.

A MAN (44) was found murdered in his Panorama Parade, Margate flat last Saturday afternoon.

According to police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka, the man’s domestic worker said when she arrived for work she found the door locked and the lights on.

“She knocked and there was no response. She then went to the reception area and asked for a spare key,” said Captain Captain Mfeka.

When the woman opened the door she saw blood on the floor. She immediately reported this to reception.

“The woman and the complex employee went back to the flat together. There they found the man lying in a pool of blood in the lounge. He had been covered with a towel,” said Captain Mfeka.

The man’s throat had been cut.

Police were contacted and investigations revealed that some of the man’s property was scattered around his bedroom.

Margate police are investigating and no arrests have yet been made.
