NEWSFLASH: Naked body found buried on beach near Hibberdene
The man had suffered a blow to the head.
A FIGHT between two men at a location near Hibberdene has led police to the beach where they discovered a body buried in the sand.

An argument apparently broke out between two mEn (both aged 27) at Sihlonyaneni Location on Saturday at around 3am.
During the scuffle, one man struck the other on the head with a heavy object, and he died at the scene.
Hibberdene police were informed.
“Warrant Officer Xolani Masinga and Constable Siya Nyawuza went to the scene but found no body,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
The suspect was pointed out by the community and he was placed under arrest.

Detective W/O Herman Pienaar and Captain Jaques Buys from Ugu Cluster were called to Hibberdene when the suspect indicated that he wanted to point out where he had buried the body.
The officers, accompanied by detectives from Hibberdene SAPS and Port Shepstone LCRC as well as officers from Port Shepstone Search and Rescue, were shown to a place on the beach close to where the murder took place.

Search and Rescue officers soon found the body in the sand.
“The man had suffered a wound to his head. The body was taken to the state mortuary for a post mortem. A murder case has been opened at Hibberdene SAPS and the suspect will appear in court soon,” added Lt-Col Wiid.
