Man hijacked at gunpoint by two men in Albersville
He was approached by the armed men while waiting for a friend.
TWO men held a motorist at gunpoint in Robin Road, Albersville last Friday before driving off in his white Toyota Conquest.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said officers from the Port Shepstone 10111 Call Centre response vehicle received a call about an abandoned vehicle at Jesus location, near Bhobhoyi.

“There they found a white Toyota Conquest,” she said.
“Further investigation revealed that a 29-year-old man had reported to Port Shepstone police earlier that he had been called to Robin Road to fetch a friend and take him to Bhobhoyi,” she said.
However, when he arrived and was waiting outside the house, two men approached him and held him at gunpoint.

“They instructed him to get out of the car and run before driving off in his vehicle,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
No arrests have yet been made.
