Just in: Pensioner found dead on roadside in Ezinqoleni

Ezinqoleni detectives are investigating.

A 73-YEAR-old man was found dead at Nkulu Ward in Ezinqoleni with an open wound to his head yesterday (Thursday).

Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said the man was taken by a community member to a local clinic but it was confirmed that he had already died.

He said Ezinqoleni detectives have opened an inquest docket and a postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
