IN another shocking case of child abandonment a newborn baby was found dead in a rubbish bin in the Harding CBD last Thursday.

The corpse was spotted by a vagrant searching for food.

“The newborn baby boy was wrapped in plastic. The man immediately stopped passing police officers who were then shown the tiny body,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.

Harding police have opened an inquest docket and no arrest has been made. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Harding Police Station at 039 4339600.
