Harding cops and their canine partners arrest business robbery suspects in Harding
Another two men who were hiding under boxes in the storeroom were sniffed out by the four-legged K9 'officers'.
IN the early hours of Thursday morning last week, Harding SAPS officers responded to an alarm which had been activated at a wholesaler in the town.
Upon arrival, the officers saw the suspects inside, in the process of robbing the store.
“Assistance was sought from the Port Shepstone and Kokstad K9 Units, who responded quickly,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
A search was conducted and one suspect was arrested.
Another two men who were hiding under boxes in the storeroom were sniffed out by K9 dogs, Rocky and Max from Port Shepstone and Zorro from Kokstad.
An undisclosed sum of money was also recovered. The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
