WATCH: Take note of the Cansa Shavathon dates and times for next weekend

Join businesses, shopping outlets and service clubs in supporting this year's Cansa Shavathon.

This will be  the 15th consecutive year the Cansa Shavathon event will be held at shopping centres around the country on February 24 and 25, and at workplaces, organisations and schools from February 26 to March 2.

On the South Coast you and your family and friends can be part of the fun for a great cause.

This year everyone is called to spray, shave or donate at the Shelly Centre, Southcoast Mall and Hibiscus Mall on Saturday, February 24.

Then on Sunday, February 25 the event will be held at Shelly Centre and Southcoast Mall. This two-day event will be held from 9am until 3pm. R50 for children over the age of 12, and R25 for those under 12.

Excited about the Shavathon are Ramsgate Lions Rob Henry and Joan Robins with Alice Brandsma, manager of the Hibiscus Mall.

 Shavathon provides the opportunity to give back, by raising funds for cancer patient care and support programmes through shaving or spraying, or by making a hair donation for wigs; and to show solidarity with family, friends, colleagues or fellow students battling cancer, or whose loved ones are fighting cancer.
