Two guards on duty at Scottburgh Mall were held up last Friday night by a group of armed robbers.
The men arrived at the mall at 11.40pm and asked the guards to point them in the direction of the toilets.

They then took out their guns and aimed them at the guards while the others headed to Clicks and forced open its doors.
“It would appear that the thieves targeted the cosmetic section where they took perfumes and then fled,” said Port Shepstone communications officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.

The stolen property was wrapped in duvet covers and bags and, just before fleeing, the criminals also robbed the security guards of their cellphones, wallets and other personal belongings.
