Originally restricted to shots of natural beauty and the environment, it has been decided to broaden the subject matter to include general shots of residential Leisure Bay, social gatherings and pics capturing the atmosphere of village life. Old and historical shots will be welcome too. Photos can be sent to jgillham@telkomsa.net as JPEGs.
The Leisure Bay Conservancy has a new chairman.
After leading from its inception, and before it was part of the ratepayers’ association, Libby Goodall, who has played a pivotal role in all aspects of taking Leisure Bay forward, has stepped down as chairman but will continue serving on the committee.
Her successor, Piet Breedt, comes with great experience in conservation matters as well as a wealth of experience in municipal matters having served as a councillor for a number of years. He heads a committee comprising Steve Botha, Jenny and Karel Koen, along with Libby and Mick Goodall.
