Jai Hind Primary excels at volleyball tournament
The U12 boys team emerged as champions after a series of outstanding matches to claim first place.
Learners from Jai Hind Primary delivered an impressive performance at the Aqua Darshan Ugu Schools Open Volleyball Tournament held at Marburg Sports Complex on May 9.
Competing against 45 teams from across the district, the school showcased determination, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
The U12 boys team emerged as champions after a series of outstanding matches to claim first place. The U12 girls team also performed exceptionally well, finishing as runners-up following a closely contested final.
The U14 girls secured second position in their division, while the U14 boys fought hard and reached the semi-finals.
The tournament provided learners with an opportunity to display their talent, build confidence and gain valuable match experience against strong opposition. Their performances on the day reflected resilience, commitment and a true passion for the sport.
