Durban police find foetus dumped in toilet near Umkomaas

The woman, who had been six months pregnant, has been hospitalised.

UMKOMAAS Saps have registered a case of concealment of birth after a Danganya, Umkomaas, woman was found to have allegedly aborted her unborn baby.

Police members from the Durban Search and Rescue found the foetus in a toilet.

The woman, who had been six months pregnant, was hospitalised.

“She will appear in court soon,” said Provincial Saps communications officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane.
