A woman, who was only identified yesterday (Wednesday) as Safisa Steenkamp, was found dead in a property in Lind Road, Marburg last Thursday morning.
Police were called to the scene after the 27-year-old woman’s half-naked body was found on the premises.

She was stabbed multiple times in her upper body and died at the scene. A post mortem was conducted and results revealed that the woman had also been sexually assaulted.
It is believed that the woman was from Bhobhoyi.
