Police call on public to assist in N2 rock throwing cases
Two incidents on the N2 have been reported recently.
Port Shepstone Saps communications officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid has confirmed two cases in which rocks were dropped onto vehicles from overhead bridges along the N2 recently.
The police are calling on members of the public to be of assistance and provide any information which may lead to locating and apprehending the rock throwers.

“We were made aware of alleged rock throwing in the Mfazazana and Umtwalume area twice last week,” Lt.-Col. Wiid said.
She added that both incidents are said to have occurred after 6pm.
“We have tasked members top patrol the area and anyone who has information regarding the culprits must contact Hibberdene police station urgently,” she said.
