UPDATE: Pennington child porn case postponed again

The accused had been found in possession of thousands of child abuse images and videos.

A Pennington man facing charges relating to the distribution of child pornography took the stand in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday this week, dressed in grey tracksuit pants and a top, along with a blue hair band.

During the short court session, the accused’s legal representation was not present. The case was postponed for plea, pending a psychiatric report.

The case has been ongoing for two years and eight months.  He had been found in possession of thousands of child abuse images and videos.

Among other items seized had been a plastic child blow-up doll, five cellphones, two secure digital memory cards, 80 compact discs, two iPads, two desktop computers and two external hard drives. Various costumes, dresses and panties had also been found.

His grandmother has previously said that he enjoyed dressing up like a girl and pretended to be one.
