UPDATE: Who has water, who doesn’t, where the tanks are and THAT leak [VIDEOS]

Supply has been restored to some areas.

“We still faced with a predicament of not having staff working in the Marburg and Harding depots which is making the recovery process of the strained system a bit slow.

We have able to resume supply in certain communities which include Port Shepstone, parts of Boboyi, Gamalakhe and Marburg.

The following areas are still experiencing supply challenges: Umtentweni, North to Hibberdene, Uvongo, Boboyi, Manaba, Shelly Beach, Albersville, Location 7, Protea Park, Margate, Port Edward and inland areas.

Process of putting up static is continuing today and will be filled accordingly. And spots where they have been put up will be communicated as soon as info is available.

Also the reported breaks have been recorded and will be attended to.”

Static tanks have put up and filled in the following areas:

Hibberdene Police Station

Southport Total Garage

Sunwich Port Superette

Pumula Supermarket tank has been refilled

Umtentweni @ Caltex Garage and JTV Centre

Albersville @ Jai Hind Primary Sports Ground
