For AMBC members, the final of the men’s and women club singles championships took place last Friday afternoon in windy conditions.
Congratulations to the winners, Mike Dennison and Annatjie Kidd. Runners-up were Len Brickhill and Liesje de Rosner.
The ladies trips winners for May were Liesje de Rosner, Carol Cameron and Marietjie van Wyk with a score of 4+14. They went home with Enzo’s vouchers.
Runners-up were Georgie McKechnie, Marilyn Folly and Ellen Cawker with vouchers from the Duck Pond. Second session and vouchers from The Bell went to Avril Smith, Charlotte Kohl and Kate Morris.
It will be a busy bowling weekend as the KZN Fours will be played this Saturday (6th) and Sunday (7th). Both AMBC greens will be used for the round robin sections.
Come along and enjoy the games with the club. The finals will be at The Bell on Monday, June 8.
