Unite and paddle out for the ocean this Saturday
Everyone, from paddlers, surfers, divers and fishermen to conservationists and other interested parties, are urged to unite to raise ‘on the ground’ awareness of marine conservation and the global plight of sharks and to change public perceptions of sharks.
Tomorrow, June 9 at 7am, ocean lovers will unite for this year’s Paddle Out for Sharks and Ocean Conservation to be held at Sony Evans Small Craft Harbour in Shelly Beach.

Everyone, from paddlers, surfers, divers and fishermen to conservationists and other interested parties, are urged to unite to raise ‘on the ground’ awareness of marine conservation and the global plight of sharks and to change public perceptions of sharks.
The event will also be to mark World Oceans Day on June 8 which is a global celebration, with hundreds of events around the world celebrating our oceans.
There are available spaces on the boats if anyone is keen to book their spot, free of charge. Booking is essential, contact Carrie at 074 760 1722.
