Baby abducted from mother’s bed in Hibberdene

Lungelo Simamane, aka 'MaNcane' is being sought in connection with the abduction.

The Hibberdene family of a three-month-old baby, Luyanda Simamane, are frantically searching for him.

On Saturday, June 2, Luyanda’s mother went to bed with him next to her. She awoke to find him missing. She told police that before she went to bed, a man named Lungelo Simamane, aka ‘MaNcane’ and a female friend had visited her house.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lungelo to contact them urgently. It is believed that he may be in the Isipingo area near Durban.

Lungelo Simamane aka ‘MaNcane’ can help with the investigation.
