Artist Errol Boyley celebrated at opening of Ramsgate Book & Art Festival
Anyone who owns a Boyley painting and would like to sell it is welcome to bring the piece along for exhibition.
The annual Ramsgate Book & Art Festival kicks off in the picturesque, seaside village of Ramsgate on the Natal South Coast on Thursday, August 2, until Sunday, August 5.

The festival is organised by Ugu South Coast Tourism’s Ramsgate Area Committee, Ramsgate Conservancy, local business owners and a host of private volunteers. The festival provides a superb platform for literature, art and craft, live performances as well as creative writing and creative workshops.
The official opening takes place at Artists’ Gallery in Ramsgate at 6pm. It will also serve as the opening of the prestigious, historical art exhibition entitled ‘Boyley’s World’ – a centenary celebration of the life and works of South African master painter Errol Boyley.
