Andile Hadebe was struck by a motor vehicle on the R102 Old Main Road near the Kelso river bridge recently.
“A motorist from Park Rynie was driving from Pennington towards Park Rynie when the little boy crossed the road in front of her vehicle,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.

“She could not avoid hitting the child, who was pronounced dead at the scene by attending paramedics.”
