Stray dismay
Dogs are still roaming the streets and news of a dead Rottweiler in the bush near Abingdon intersection has been received.
A Jack Russell had been spotted with a Rottweiler last Sunday on the strip of land between Old St Faith’s and the R102 which was reported to the SPCA.
Please keep your animals at home or install an electric pet fence if your dogs are habitual wanderers – this worked wonderfully for John and Di Saunders’ dogs. Melissa Deane reports that careless driving on Old St Faith’s Road is sadly killing at least one cat a week.
Everyone is urged to stick to the speed limit and if you do accidently run over an animal, at least move it off the road and report it to authorities to get it removed.

Sincere condolences go to Chris and Nathan Polinski for Nicolene, who died last Friday afternoon after a long illness.
