Umzinto Saps responded to reports of an unknown man having collapsed behind Rhino Store in Umzinto recently.
Officers found the man lying lifeless at the edge of the riverbank.

“A post mortem investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of death,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum, “No foul play is suspected at this stage.”
Detective Sergeant Nonhlanhla Fortunate Ndovela of the Umzinto SAPS Detective Service is investigating an inquest docket.
