WATCH: Children escape fiery death as taxi goes up in flames

No one was injured in the blaze.

Thirteen school children narrowly escaped a fiery death after the taxi in which they were travelling caught fire on the Old St Faith’s Road at Oshabeni near Port Shepstone just after 7am today.

The incident happened shortly after 7 am on Friday on Old St Faith’s Road at Oshabeni near Port Shepstone.

According to the driver, Wandile Shinga: “Thirteen children were in the vehicle when the fire started. It not clear what caused the fire, but all the children managed to escape unharmed.”
