Missing Durban child (11) found in Bhobhoyi

The child was reportedly taken from her home in the KwaNyuswa area last month.

A 45-year-old man was arrested by Port Shepstone police after Kholiwe Blose (11), reported missing after reportedly being taken from her home in the KwaNyuswa area last month, was found at his place house.

Provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele saida case of kidnapping had been opened at the Hillcrest police station after the child’s disappearance.

An extensive investigation together with the assistance of the community led police to the Bhobhoyi area after the picture of the missing child was circulated in the media.

Col Mbhele said the missing girl was taken to hospital for a medical check-up.

The suspect appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Monday).
