New classrooms for Wonderland Special Needs School

Principal Roslyn Caldwell wants to make everyone aware of these special people who give back to the community without expecting anything in return.

Four teachers at Wonderland Special Needs School have had to share a classroom rented from Creston College to teach various groups, which can be extremely noisy and difficult. A family-owned business stepped up and generously built an annex which adds another two classrooms.

The family is in no way affiliated to any Wonderland pupils and simply wanted give back to the community. They did not want advertising and apparently it is not the first community project they have sponsored.

Construction work was done during the recent school holidays to avoid disruption and an official opening was held on August 2.

The glass and aluminium annex  boasts frosted windows and a vinyl floor. To add to this amazing donation, eight beautiful desks were made.

Principal Roslyn Caldwell really wants to make the South Coast aware of these extremely special people who give back to the community without expecting anything in return and sincerely thanks them for their incredible generosity.

Grateful thanks go to Clive and Ina Lynch (L&L Aluminium and Glass and C&D Maintenance) and Yolandie Lynch and Roxanne Dixon-Seager (Sizabantu Kitchens).
