Local women had a great time at the Women Unsilenced pyjama therapy night.

The women were treated to a night filled with inspiring messages, motivational talks and counselling by a very powerful line-up of speakers, which included Ukhozi FM’s pastor S’thembiso Zondo, psychologist Dr Lynette Itabor, Ugu special programmes manager Dudu Khowa and many others.

Armed with tissues, the women also shared their stories, from abusive relationships and abuse in the workplace to social ills facing their communities.

Health issues, personal hygiene and make-up tips were also on the list of discussions, including a networking session for all women in business and various working sectors.

Yaya Mkhize was delighted to be a part of the event.

An ‘In my feelings’ dance fitness routine conducted by Ntokozo Bohlela was also on the cards. The women also went home with roses and chocolates.
