Police spokesman Captain Petros Zenzele Mpinge said the telephone lines were currently being upgraded; however, the 10111 number is operational to report crime or contact the station for a response vehicle.
“The station switchboard numbers are not in use. The management sincerely apologises for the inconvenience and requests the public to be patient during this time,” he said.
