Church bazaar was fun for the family

The bazaar proved to be a very enjoyable experience for all visitors and vendors.

This year’s annual bazaar at the Gereformeerde Kerk Suidkus proved to be a very enjoyable experience for all visitors and vendors.

Before the doors to the hall opened, there was quite a crowd of people who had arrived early to catch bargains. Queues soon formed as people waited patiently to pay for their purchases. Others made a bee-line for the pancakes, puddings, cakes and biscuits that were snapped up in a very short space of time!

Tables in the middle of the hall were filled with people enjoying coffee and snacks.

The smell of the freshly-cooked braai meat proved irresistible. Children were catered for with sweets and plenty of games. The bazaar was a great success, despite the difficult economic conditions.
