South Coast Spring Wine Festival was a real palate-pleaser

The now well-established event is always a sparkling occasion.

This year’s annual South Coast Spring Wine Festival was a true celebration of spring and everyone involved can take a well-deserved bow.

Bursting with an array of excellent food and wine, the festival treated visitors to all the ingredients that have made it one of the the premier events on the coast.

The now well-established event is always a sparkling occasion, and this year there were more than 120 fantastic wines on offer from 30 of South Africa’s top estates.

Festival-goers were given the opportunity to engage directly with knowledgeable and highly respected wine experts.

And as added bonus, for the first time the event included a ‘Secret Gin Bar.’

Oenophiles were unanimous in their approval: “What an incredible experience. May it grow bigger and better!” said one.

Tiffany Avern-Taplin shows off some of the wine available for tasting.

“Fabulous event, will definitely be back next year,” echoed another.
