Heine murder accused back in court

The suspect was granted R5 000 bail during her first court appearance in February.

This Friday, October 5 will mark a year since Uvongo businessman, Hilton Heine (52) was shot in an apparent attempted hijacking.

He and his wife, Natasha (43), had reportedly been on their way home from a pub when the incident occurred.

Mr Heine suffered a gunshot wound to the head and police found a bullet hole in the vehicle.

He was taken to Margate Netcare Hospital by his wife.

He was pronounced dead on arrival and a case of murder was opened at Margate Saps.

Natasha Heine will appear in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court this Friday in connection with the murder.

The case was previously postponed for further investigation.

She was granted R5 000 bail during her first court appearance in February.
