BOUND hand and foot and forced to the ground, an Amandawe security guard was robbed of his cellphone by three armed men.
The robbery, according to Port Shepstone Saps communications officer, Captain Petros Mpinge, occurred at a security training centre in Amandawe, where the three armed men also stripped two trucks of six tyres.

“The intruders also took approximately 40 litres of diesel from another truck,” said Captain Mpinge.
They then continued on foot into nearby bushes, where they loaded the stolen goods onto a vehicle before fleeing.
After untying himself, the security guard contacted his supervisor and alerted him to the robbery. No arrests have yet been made.
