Two suspected heroin suppliers were arrested yesterday in Scottburgh, in a joint operation between the Hawks and members from Durban Organised Crime Investigation, Crime Intelligence and Durban Metro Police.
The suspects are aged 42 and 46 and are said to have been selling the drugs from a Scottburgh premises.

Members followed up on information received and were able to locate the premises. A search was conducted and according to the Hawks, 12 000 heroin capsules as well as paraphernalia with a street value of approximately R750 000 were found.

The suspects are to appear in the Scottburgh Magistrate’s Court soon.
