The Ugu Operational Command Centre and Saps K9 officers arrested three men for an armed robbery immediately after it occurred at Louisiana on Tuesday last week.

The men aged 30, 22 and 21 years, were taken into custody after they robbed a tuckshop owner.
“Fortunately the victim was not injured. Two airguns were recovered by the police. Further investigations will be done to determine if they were involved in other crimes,” said police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge.
Ugu Cluster commander, Major-General Sethenya Nxamagele, was impressed with the quick reaction of the officers as well as the recoveries and arrests made.
The men are due to appear in court soon.
