Team Lions takes top honours

Some tricky, but interesting questions were put to the teams, which created some lively interaction and kept contestants on their toes.

A highly contested South Coast Hospice quiz evening took place at Port Shepstone Country Club last Wednesday. South Coasters’ general knowledge was put to the test and, as always, the emphasis was on fun and laughter.

It was a great evening and guests enjoyed the good company, wonderful snacks and the friendly competition.

Some tricky, but interesting questions were put to the teams, which created some lively interaction and kept contestants on their toes.

South Coast Hospice fund-raising co-ordinator at ‘BT’ King said that order been kept admirably, not an easy task, as quiz contestants tended to be a bit unruly and argumentative at times.

“The evening was great fun but there was a serious side to the quiz. Some of the questions were reminders of just how much we forget about everyday things around us,” she said.
