Kotie Swart showed how easy it is to change ordinary items at home into something very pretty with her home-made art. She said that anything from broken chains and old flowers to plastic bags and rope can be part of your creation.

Margaret Rex, the main speaker for the morning, shared her life experience and how Jesus took her broken life and changed it into something beautiful with His love and mercy.

“Sometimes a situation can look good, but after some time you’ll find that it turned out to be the opposite. Good wrapping does not always guarantee the contents of the gift. The greatest gift of all is still Jesus, the Son of God. God gave this gift for free and those who believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” she said.

The next Stonecroft meeting takes place at Mbango Valley on Friday, November 23 at 9am for 9.30am. All are welcome to enjoy an interesting talk by Joan D’Arcy on Christmas in Asia.
