Lions give beds to a family
The family was overjoyed with the donation of the beds and bedding, and shrieks of joy were heard from the two youngsters as they promptly took ownership of their top and bottom bunks.
Lions Shelly Beach championed the lives of two young boys living on the coast, when they provided bunk beds, bedding and linen to a family who had fallen on hard times.

Johann Bentley, Shelly Beach Lions PRO director, explained that, after hearing from their local Saps that these two youngsters were sleeping on the floor, they took the initiative to find bunk beds for them and asked for local support to donate bedding and linen.
“We are very grateful to all that donated and especially Leon Barnard of Home Xpertz in Manaba who went the extra mile and donated the bunk beds to the Lions for the boys,” he said.

“Thank you to all that made it possible for a South Coast family to have just a little comfort during a difficult period in their lives. Well done,” added Lion Johann.
